Gender: She-cat
Title: Medicine cat
Former Mentor: Mossclaw
Description: She has feathery silver and white dappled fur. Her paws a pure white. She has crystal blue eyes.
Personality: Dapplesky is a gentle, kind-hearted cat. She gets to know every Iceclan cat as much as she can in order to help them. Her love for her clan is only matched by her love of herb knowledge. Dapplesky has extensive knowledge from not only her mentor, but also from some past travels. She tries very hard to keep everyone healthy which causes her to worry a lot too. She always has something on her mind. The only cats she trusts that are not from Iceclan are other medicine cats. She acts wary and distant to other clans, but will help them if necessary.
Strengths: She is clever and can solve nearly any problem. Dapplesky is also passionate and kind.
Weaknesses: She is very sensitive, especially in regards to herself. Dapplesky burns out easily due to constantly being busy.
History: Dapplekit was born to X and X. Her sister is Sweetfern. Dapplekit loved being around others. She had a big heart from the start and comforted whomever she could with her adorable kit-like ways.
Mossclaw was already fairly old when he chose Dapplekit to be his apprentice. He had been very stubborn and did not think the previous kits were meant to be medicine cats. Dapplepaw's knack to solving problems and kindness led him to choose her. Dapplepaw was excited to be mentored by Mossclaw. Mossclaw did not make things easy for Dapplepaw. He made her work as much as possible and did not let her forget her mistakes. Iceclan couldn't afford to have a mouse-brained medicine cat, he said. She came to know every herb in and out of the Iceclan territory. She was taught about every possible illness and how to treat out. This caused her to enjoy being busy, also to work until she can barely stand.
Dapplepaw became Dapplesky at 11 moons old. For once, Mossclaw was truly proud. The two worked side by side for only a moon afterwards. On a search for herbs, Mossclaw and Dapplesky were attacked by a starving fox and Mossclaw was fatally injured from protecting Dapplesky. A nearby Iceclan patrol heard the fight and was able to get the fox to leave. But Dapplesky watched her mentor die in the snow, unable to do anything to help. Mossclaw was highly honored for his bravery and service as a medicine cat, even in other clans. For Dapplesky, the memory of his death still haunts her in her dreams.
