Coldstar --- Riverheart --- Grayflight
Description
Riverheart is a long-furred, sleek, beautiful little she. Her faintly tabby silver peltage, gleaming and soft and supple, falls around her in a waterfall cascade, shimmering around her fine frame and light and feathery, catching the breeze.
Her long graceful tail has a feathery breezey drift of shining silver, falling away in little ripples and cloud-like to the touch.
The pretty silver is broken only by the soft cloud-like white, that covers her chest, throat, muzzle, paws, and a pretty little blaze coming between her wide eyes.
Her small slender white paws have soft pink pads, not the best for her winter environment, but perfect for sensitivity in hunting, as they catch the tremors perfectly.
The she has a delicate refined lovely head, a dished face and sensitive bright pink nose, that she keeps cool and moist at all times.
The windows to her soul are large and vivid; sparkling turquoise pools that capture the hearts of all who behold them. They are deep and liquid, blue-green, like the streams of her Clan under the harsh light of a cold day.
The she is very conscious of her looks, constantly keeping her paws white and her coat soft, so she can be found grooming quite often. Although, like most cats of her Clan, she isn't afraid to take a plunge into the icy streams, soaking her fur once again, as it floats around her like a silver cloud.
History
The love between Ripplestar and Watersplash was a strong and beautiful thing. And when a love is that beautiful, something beautiful always results.
Riverkit was born along with her two brothers to the Clans leader one greenleaf. She was a sight to see, even when she was hardly bigger than a warriors paw. And she commanded love from all, from the very first time she opened her eyes to embrace the world. This is Riverkit. Only daughter to Ripplestar and Watersplash. And a she all are privileged to see.

Riverkit-IceClan Kit
Riverkit opened her eyes on a sunny afternoon. She blinked several times, letting her large turquoise pools soak in the interesting mix of shadows and light, before she slowly began to lift her fragile little head.
A bright pink sensitive little nose twitched from the cool air and smells, and she slowly got to her little white paws. The world wasn't so big when you stood up.
A silver little feather of a tail whipped back and forth, stirring the air, and she gave a feeble but pretty little mew.
Her mother noticed the sound instantly, being only at the entrance as she soaked up sun and ate some fish. She bounded into the nursery, skidding to a halt and half scaring poor little Riverkit to death. Ripplestar was a first-time mother, and more used to fighting and leading than mothering.
Riverkit looked up to the big silver tabby she and blinked once. The smell was familiar though, so she scrambled over the edge of the nest, landing on her face, but got to her paws again quickly, if a little unsteadily, and trotted over to her mother.
Ripplestar's purrs we're very loud, and sounded pleasant to Riverkit's ears. She looked up to meet the she's bright green gaze, finding an affection and warmth there that she had only ever felt before. It felt wonderful, and a responding purr sounded instinctively in her throat. It wasn't at all like Ripplestar's loud rumbling purr though. The purr was as sweet and dainty as the little she herself, sounding far more like a hummingbird than a cat's purr.
Ripplestar chuckled and nuzzled Riverkit behind the ear, searching her eyes for a minute in delight. She called back out into the light.
"Watersplash! Come quick! Riverkit opened her eyes! And oh, they're your eyes!"
She called. The delight was clear in her voice and eyes as she bent to cover Riverkit in licks.
Riverkit squeaked indignantly at first, but soon warmed to it, as it felt nice on her fur. She was soon purring again.
A large gray and white tom came running through the cave entrance eagerly, skidding to a halt next to his mate. This was his first litter as well, and he wasn't any more used to being a father.
Riverkit's eyes flew open again as he raced in, and she gave a squeak and nearly fell over her own paws again as she race back to the best from the huge tom that had come barreling in.
She tripped over the edge of the best and back in, crouching behind the wall of moss and quivering in her soft fur, her eyes huge with shock, and her tiny claws sunk into the moss tightly.
She heard two sets of laughter, sounding very nice together, and soon the big gray and white tom approached the edge of the nest and looked over it curiously.
His eyes narrowed in a smile as a purr erupted forcefully from his white throat, much deeper than the silver she, and he looked down in intense pride.
"She looks just like you Ripplestar." he whispered, turning to lick his mate's cheek when she joined him to look down at their daughter.
"Hmm. Hopefully she won't act like me when I was younger though." She joked, and they both chuckled.
"Her eyes are like yours though Watersplash." She pointed out.
Riverkit sat under the scrutiny, but soon lifted her head and sat up a little straighter. She liked the attention, and mimicked their moves, tilting her head back and forth slowly, batting her large eyes as they chuckled.
"She's adorable!" said the queen.
"She's beautiful. Like you." replied the tom, nuzzling his mate's ear affectionately.
He padded forward a step closer though, and leaned over the side of the nest with a smile.
Riverkit sat up a bit straighter watching him approach, but didn't back away again. She rather liked the look of the cat.
"Hello Riverkit." he greeted.
"Hello." she replied politely, tilting her head curiously. He smelled familiar.
"My name is Watersplash. I'm your father." He said happily, looking extremely happy as he said it. It seemed the first time he could say it.
Riverkit took a moment to think this over. So this was her dad. He looked awfully handsome.
She liked him and his kind voice instantly, standing up. She had beautiful long legs for a kit. But they weren't awkward or gangly for her. They looked quite nice even then.
She stood and gave her purr, eliciting another round of chuckling and responding purrs from her parents as she rose to touch her tiny pink nose to her fathers grey one. His eyes sparkled with affection and happiness. It was obvious his heart instantly belonged to his little daughter. She instantly had him wrapped around her little white paws from the moment she opened her eyes. He couldn't look away, and whispered something to Ripplestar as she leaned her head against his broad shoulder.
"Hello daddy." She chirped, much to her parents delight.
"What a perfect little kit." he purred to his mate, licking his daughter lovingly but carefully. She looked very fragile.
"Opened your eyes before your brothers eh? Beat them to it." he purred playfully, winking at Riverkit.
She beamed and nodded enthusiastically.
"Coldkit and Graykit are lazy fuzz balls." she giggled.
She purred as her parents watched, turning and pawing at the air energetically and leaping onto her brothers intermixed gray silver and white fur, pawing at them as they squeaked protestingly.
Ripplestar leaped to her paws and carefully picked Riverkit off them as her father laughed loudly.
"Careful Riverkit! They aren't awake yet like you."
"But when will they wake up and play with me?" she whined, flattening her ears.
"In their own time darling. You have to be patient." she explained, licking Riverkit again.
Riverkit pouted and curled her tail around her paws.
"Well... Then I want to go outside." she countered, standing determinedly.
Ripplestar shook her head firmly.
"Not this time. You just opened your eyes for the first time. That's quite enough excitement. "
But she was interrupted by Watersplash as he laughed.
"Oh why not Ripplestar. A little trip into the light won't hurt her."
He said with a purr. It was obvious he'd do whatever the tiny kit asked, as he led the bouncing gleeful little silver kit out the entrance, even as his mate gave him a frosty look.
"This is the clearing, were all the cats of IceClan come out....."

Riverkit led her brothers around camp happily.
She was showing them the warriors den as she heard her name called from across the clearing.
Riverkit turned her large turquoise eyes to the other side of the clearing were Thornkit, Blizzardkit, and Rockkit sat talking.
She grinned and meowed back, sprinting over to them a her brothers squeaked in protest, scrabbling to keep up with their faster sister.
"Hey guys! What's up?" she asked cheerfully bowling them over, making the older kits laugh as they stood up.
"Peakwing said to go out and play. How about we play Mossball again?" Asked Thornkit hopefully, blinking his green eyes.
It was obvious who was in charge though, as she smaller silver she shook her head.
"Nah. How about... We play StormClan and IceClan again!" She said excitedly, as the other kits yelled yeah. Watersplash had told her of a time before they were born that StormClan had raided IceClan one time and tried to steal kits.
"Blizzardkit, and Thornkit will be StormClan warriors. Graykit and I will be kits. Coldkit and Rockkit will be IceClan warriors. Oh, Wolfkit, you're up! You can be another StormClan warrior. What, Graykit, why don't you want to be a kit! You're too small to be a warrior!" she whined, but laughed and gave in as she watched her brothers attempt to look big. He did look a bit like Watersplash when he puffed his chest out. But much more funny looking.
"Fine. I guess I'm the only kit then. Graykit can be a warrior too. Now... Try to get me!" She squealed, racing away with her tail in the air and her brothers and Rockkit close around her as Thornkit, Blizzardkit, and Wolfkit raced after them yowling battle cries.
"Rrrrrraaawwwrrrr! We're big scary StormClan warriors! We're going to take your kits! Get Riverkit!" they yowled and laughed.
Riverkit scrambled breathlessly around Pinepaw and Dovecloud, racing up a couple of rocks and standing on top. She curled up defensively with her best frightened look, watching helplessly as the other kits fluffed up and hissed and spat and lunged at each other, swiping with their small paws.
Wolfkit and Coldkit wrestled in a ball at the bottom of the rockpile, a bundle of silver and cream and white fur and squeaks and laughter.
Graykit was valiantly hanging onto Thornkit as he raced in circles. Rockkit had his brother Blizzardkit and pushed him over, but was distracted by Graykit's yowl as he lost his grip on Thornkit and fell to the ground.
Blizzardkit took advantage of his brothers hesitation and and yowled happily, knocking his brother over.
He bounced up the rocks while Rockkit skidded over the stones, racing for Riverkit excitedly as Rockkit shouted Breach!
Graykit and Thornkit were too far away to help instantly. Rockkit was still struggling to run back over. Coldkit and Wolfkit fell apart instantly as he raced up after Blizzardkit. "Come on Rockkit! Let's get him! He's gonna take Riverkit!" he cried, scrambling up the rocks.
Wolfkit was right after them, yowling "Go Blizzardkit!" she cheered.
Riverkit blinked and got to her paws, realizing the danger, and squeaked, trying to run.
Blizzardkit was soon on top of her though, yowling triumphantly.
"Gotcha!" he laughed as he pinned Riverkit on her back.
Riverkit giggled, looking up into Blizzardkit's emerald eyes.
"This time." she retorted playfully.
Coldkit was soon on top of the rock pile too though and knocked the unsuspecting Blizzardkit off of Riverkit.
"Get away from my sister StormClan scum!" he yowled protectively and triumphantly.
"IceClan is safe, and wins again!" he yowled happily.
Rockkit and a panting Graykit joined him in his victory cheers. Riverkit was a bit disappointed however.
A couple of warriors were chuckling nearby as they watched the kits playing. Riverkit soon gave in though, laughing too and joining in the group pile as the climbed on top of each other.
"You should be leader Coldkit." she giggled to her brother, biting his ear lightly and tugging on it playfully before he rolled her off.
"Ya think so?" asked Coldkit hopefully. He puffed out his chest a bit and stood up a little straighter.
"Mom says I could be one day!" he boasted.
She purred and brushed pelts with him purring.
"You'd be a good leader Coldkit." she said with a smile.
Rockkit, Blizzardkit, Wolfkit, and Thornkit raced off as Troutfall, Snowbird, and Watersplash trotted back into the clearing with some prey.
Riverkit squeaked happily and raced over to her father with her brothers hot on her heels.
Watersplash laughed with an Oof as his kits knocked him over. He grinned and licked them all.
"Oh, Riverkit, look at this!" said her father as he stood up. He grabbed something from his pile and nudged it to the excited little silver kit.
"A pebble! And it's all round and shiny and sparkly!" cried Riverkit in her sweet little voice delightedly. Graykit yowled and leaped on it, batting at it and making it skid to we're Coldkit pounced on it.
Watersplash chuckled and shook his head, nosing his sons away.
"Hey, I got you two that bug. This one is your sisters." he said, nosing it back to her gently as she purred and rubbed up against his head.
"Thanks daddy." she purred.
