Stonestar stood slowly as Brightstar finished her speach, and he padded slowly to the front where he stood tall and lifted his molten silver eyes to the stars, before settling them down upon the cats below. For a moment there was uninterupted silence, before his eyes seemed to harden and he lifted his powerful voice.
"StormClan fares well, and is stronger than ever. We have been blessed with the arrival of a new litter to Shadowfall, all healthy and strong. "
He seemed to end his speach and it seemed for a moment that the Gathering had ended. Suddenly his voice rang out again, with a fierce undertone to the massive tom's voice.
"After much counceling and signs from StarClan, it has become clear that they intend for us to finish our ancestor's quarrel, in whatever way deemed necessary. The forest territory belongs to StormClan, and tonight I stake our official claim on it. Warriors already have begun to mark the territory.

He stood as a powerful sillouette against the moon drifting behind him, stock still and stoney as his name. This was StormClan's right, and he would let no Clan stand in the way.
Sandflower nodded to Brackenstripe, knowing he was right.
She listened as the leaders spoke their peaces, purring quietly at the news of all the kits. When it seemed the Gathering had ended and she was just about to turn, the large figure of StormClan's leader called her back to attention, and her eyes grew wider with every word he spoke. She turned in shock to Brackenstripe as he spoke of StarClan. Brackenstripe certainly hadn't said anything about StarClan's wishes, and she hadn't heard anything or seen any signs...
