She resumed her seat once again, flicking one ear a tad uneasily as she cast a glance over his features while he looked off into the distance. She could practically see the thoughts trailing through his mind as he sank into thought.
Sometimes, when he spoke of his 'plans' he worried her. But she knew it was all just his father talking. That could never be the true Waspfang. He simply had a cruel humor and some bias, but she knew deep down he was an incredibly smart and loyal warrior who only wanted the best for his Clan, and that was always a main attractor to him.
She rolled her eyed with a smirk as he teased her back, but glanced back sharply at his pointed jav, her fur bristling indignantly at the remark.
"Then I suppose you will have to pray harder to StarClan as they are the ultimate decidors. After all, you should be thankful they're all healthy and strong and not sickly, like FireClan has a history of its kit being." She replied just as pointedly with a cool edge to her tone, turning to lap at her chest fur for a moment. That was one of the few things she did indeed take to heart, as being a queen was who she was now. She would probably never have an apprentice or go on to be deputy or do anything too great for her Clan, but she knew her job now was important, and so she resigned to it without complaint. She did indeed love her kits, and was rather proud of them.
She listened to Waspfang's new rant, padding up beside him and watching the determination and ambition flame in his eyes.
"You sound like you already have an army all ready and waiting for your command." She chuckled, turning to groom his shoulder affectionately and just listening, lending an ear to his rants as an outlet for the frustrated tom. She knew he was still upset about not being chosen deputy, and she never minded being someone he could pour out his frustrations to, if it eased him any.
